The best thing about City of Heroes is that it genuinely offers the thrill of discovery--something that is fundamentally uncommon in gaming, since most games are closely modeled on established genres. In fact, you play the game your way from the moment you finish installing it. City of Heroes has the best initial game experience of any massively multiplayer game on the market. The character creation is outstanding: from the ridiculous to the sinister to the classic hero and everything in between, you can create it and you can stuff it into tights. From there, you immediately jump into the action. You don?t have to spend a few hours killing rats or finding basic equipment. From the very beginning you?re putting the smack down on gun-toting gangbangers or paramilitary thugs. The first 5 levels or so breeze by, giving you a chance to really get a feel for the character. Don?t like your hero? Each account has a spacious eight character slots, allowing you to explore plenty of possibilities. ----Read Full Review
