Founded in early 2000, Paris based Nevrax is an Online Game and software development company that specializes in Massively Multi Players Online Games.

Utilizing NeL, its open source platform, NEVRAX team of 50+ engineers and designers developed and released the Science Fantasy MMORPG entitled "The Saga of Ryzom" in September 2004.

Two year after the release of "Ryzom" and two months only after the release of the "Ryzom Ring", free expansion and first editor tool in the MMORPG world, NEVRAX unfortunately went bankruptcy and closed its door in December 2006. Gameforge AG, German company specialized in online browser-based games, took over "Ryzom" and hired most of the parisian development team.
