Play Asheron?s Call 2: Fallen Kings for a while, and you?ll realize that developer Turbine Entertainment clearly wanted to avoid as many of these problems as possible. Such nettlesome issues--like losing items after your character dies, or being forced to run back to the nearest town to sell off burdensome loot and replenish supplies--simply aren?t in the game. As a result, Asheron?s Call 2 is a highly streamlined, highly accessible online RPG. Two kinds of people are reading this review: Those who played the first Asheron?s Call who want to see what?s changed, and those who have never played Asheron?s Call and want to know if the sequel is worth getting on board for. Fallen Kings is perhaps the most new player friendly game on the market. Even if you have never played an MMORPG before, this one immediately immerses you into the game. It has a great tutorial that walks you through the important parts of the interface and mechanics. After exiting into Dereth, you are greeted with many quests and choices to further the learning experience. Before you know it, you are level 8 and have not only completed all the new player quests, but are a pro at the interface and already in love with this incredible looking world.----Read Full Review

At a glance, Turbine?s massively multiplayer online RPG Asheron?s Call may not seem very attractive; its uninspired presentation, esoteric setting, clumsy combat system, and cluttered interface do little to recommend it over its competitors.
