PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
Xing International Holdings, Ltd. looks to expand its retail presence in Indonesia considerably in the coming years with stores in all major cities. On the software and music side we strive for a dramatic increase of our market share and we hope to jumpstart our other business activities in order to diversify our income and minimise our dependence on one particular type of product or service. Our core business will remain software for the next 2 years but due to the competitiveness of the market and increasing overheads the shift to making other activities equally or even more important is logical. Digital Rights Management (DRM) for software and music is the future of our business and direct retail sales will be of secondary importance only in a couple of years.
Expansion of our staff and our offices is a key feature and we took the first step with the formation of our Indonesian subsidiary Xing International Asia, Ltd.. Situated in a ¡<tiger economy¡\ this company will have every opportunity for growth and prosperity and is therefore able to augment the other divisions in their activities by providing additional distribution in an emerging market.
Our partnership with Atari will be strengthened and hopefully expanded over the next year and we are looking to form similar partnerships with local distributors and publishers of software and music as well. Xing Records, the music division, will be the company¡¯s fastest growing division and hopefully cash cow for the business in general.
